MODIFY TOOLS IN AUTO-CAD

             
                                                              
ERASE 
Using this command in Auto-cad  you can remove a line.

   -  Select command
   -  Select line segments to remove
   -  Enter
Erase
COPY 
using this command you can create multiple object same as original object from single object.

   -  Select command
   -  Select object to copy
   -  Enter
   -  Specify base point to object
   -  Then, either click where you want to copy or specify length and angle to copy the object.

MOVE
Using this command you can moves objects from one place to another at a specified distance.

   -  Select command
   -  Select object to move
   -  Enter
   -  Specify base point of object
   -  Specify distance to move
   -  Enter
MOVE

MIRROR
Using this command you can create objects that represent half of a drawing. Select them, and mirror them across a specified line to create the other half which is opposite to selected object.

   -  Select command
   -  Select objects to mirror
   -  Enter
   -  Specify mirror line according to your requirmente
   -  Enter
MIRROR

ROTATE
Using this command you can rotate selected objects around a base point to an absolute angle in Auto-cad.

   -  Select command
   -  Select object to rotate
   -  Enter
   -  Specify base point about which you can rotate object
   -  Specify angle
   -  Enter
ROTATE

OFFSET
Using this command you can offset an object at a specified distance or through a point. After you offset object, you can trim and extends them as your requirement. Through this you can create concentric circles, parallel line and parallel curves.

TRIM
Using this command you can remove extra element of an meet the edges of other objects.

   -  Select command
   -  Enter
   -  Select object to trim
TRIM 

EXTEND
Using this command in Auto-cad you can extend an object to meet the edges of other objects.

   -  Select command
   -  Enter
   -  Select object to extend
EXTEND

SCALE
Using this command you can enlarges or reduces selected objects, keeping the proportion of the  object the same after scaling.

   -  Select command
   -  select object to scale
   -  Enter
   -  Specify base point of object which acts as center point of scaling operation and remains stationary.
   -  Specify scale factor (scale factor greater than 1 enlarges the object and scale factor between 0 and 1 shrinks the object)
SCALE

STRETCH
Using this command you can stretches objects crossed by a section window or polygon. Objects that are partially enclosed by a crossing window are stretched. object that are completely enclosed within the crossing window, or that are selected individually are move rather than stretched.

   -  Select command
   -  Select object to stretch
   -  Enter
   -  Specify base point to stretch
   -  Specify length to stretch
   -  Enter
STRETCH

CHAMFER
Using this command in Auto-cad you can bevels the edges of object.

   -  Select command
   -  Press D to specify distances and A for distance and angle
   -  Specify distance
   -  Select first and second line
CHAMFER

FILLET
Using this command you can rounds the edges of object.

   -  Select command
   -  Press R for radius
   -  Specify radius to fillet
   -  Select both edges
FILLET

LENGTHEN
Using this command in Auto-cad you can increase length of line according to your requirement through four method-delta, percent,total, dynamic
LENGTHEN

                                                   DELTA METHOD
From this method you can increase length according to your required length.

   -  Select command
   -  Press DEL
   -  Specify length to increase
   -  Click on that side of line that has to increase
                                                        PERCENT
From this method you can remove a line by percent method.

   -  Select command
   -  Press PER
   -  Specify percentage to decrease
   -  Click on that side from where you have to decrease the length.
                                                          TOTAL
From this method you can decrease the length by specifying the length parameter

   -  Select command
   -  Press TO
   -  Specify length
   -  Click on that side from where you have to decrease length
                                                      .DYNAMIC
From this method you can increase or decrease length according to your requirement.

ARRAY
Using this command you can create multiple object from a single object through different Method in different pattern-
                                             RECTANGULAR ARRAY
Using this command you can create multiple object from a single object in rectangular pattern.

   -  Select command
   -  Select object to array
   -  Enter
   -  Specify number of columns, rows, distance between rows and columns
   -  Enter
RECTANGULAR ARRAY
                                                   POLAR ARRAY
Using this command in Auto-cad you can create multiple object from the single object in polar form.

   -  Select command
   -  Select object
   -  Enter
   -  Specify center point around which you have to create in polar form
   -  Specify number of items,angle between them
   -  Enter
POLAR ARRAY
                                                   PATH ARRAY
Using this command you can create multiple object on any poly-line either open or closed.

   -  Select command
   -  Select object to array
   -  Enter
   -  Select path on which you have to create multiple objects
   -  Specify distance between them.
   -  Enter
PATH ARRAY
BREAK
Using this command you can break some distance in a line by specifying some distance.


   -  Select command break
   -  Specify first point on line
   -  Then specify the distance of break
   -  Enter
BREAK
BREAK AT POINT
Using this command you can break a line from any point.

   -  Select command
   -  Select the line which has to break
   -  Click wherever you want to break
BREAK AT POINT
JOIN
Using this command in Auto-cad you can join two or more line and make a poly-line.

   -  Select command
   -  Select object to join
   -  Enter
JOIN
DIMENSIONS
Using this command you can show different type type of dimension to drawing.
Through dimension you can show your drawing by its absolute  parameters.
Different type dimension are as-
Linear
Aligned
Radius
Diameter
Multi-leader
Baseline
Continuous
